I WAS MADE BY A TELEVISION
During one of my trips to India, I was in Varanasi where the Lake of Goddesses were. I was walking down an alley and I hear PSY's biggest hit '강남스타일' from an old radio at a chai tea booth. I was in both in horror and shock of how media can reach to such unexpected places. It hit me, that with technology there's this international commotion of unlimitless access to anything. The amount of information you consume everyday is pretty a lot and we are tied to our cellphones, computers, television, radio,...pretty much everything that portrays media. So during my India trip I wanted to created an installation piece. I built a shrine for a television and put multiple Gods inside to show how religious we are towards our technology.
